Position Summary

As an Entry-level UX researcher at Oasys, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our clients’ products. Your experience designing user experiences for software applications across web, mobile, and desktop platforms will be invaluable. Your main tasks will involve researching user needs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and conducting usability studies. You will also drive change, deliver presentations, analyze qualitative and quantitative data, and help the UX team improve the overall user experience by making it more intuitive, accessible, and seamless.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in applying user experience research by leveraging extensive knowledge of various sciences (e.g., Human Factors, Marketing, or Psychology).
  • Assist in applying web usability testing methods of web user research studies (e.g., usability studies, creation of user profiles or personas, participatory design, surveys, heuristic evaluations, and cognitive walkthroughs).
  • Conduct user experience (UX) research (to conduct heuristic evaluations) on websites, software applications, and mobile apps for the client’s web enterprises to enhance the user’s experience.
  • Assist in designing user-centered test plans from the concept phase to post-release evaluations across the design cycle.
  • Assist in incorporating quantitative and qualitative UX research methodologies to convey complex technical and business requirements.
  • Assist in conducting UX research through usability testing, interviews, card sorting, and other industry methodologies. Based on that research, provide data-driven reports in various formats to diverse audiences.
  • Assist in conducting and incorporating UX research techniques such as observations, understandings, analysis, interviews, surveys, questionnaires, card sorts, usability tests, tree tests, and A/B testing to prove or disprove assumptions, find commonalities among our target audience members, and recognize their needs, goals, and mental models in the client’s digital space.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • UX Design Certificate.
  • Experience in a customer service type role.

Clearance Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or at any time.
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust.
