Custom Solutions Technician

Procore is looking for a Custom Solutions Technician to identify and develop innovative solutions for the unique challenges our passionate customers face during their day-to-day. You’ll collaborate with our Custom Solutions team and cross-departmental partners while working independently to complete project-based work customized to our customers’ changing needs.

As a successful Custom Solutions Technician, you’ll be involved in helping clients determine and create solutions for crucial components of their business. Successful candidates are motivated and passionate about breaking through roadblocks to deliver the best possible solution for our customers and being a resource for others on the team. This role will report to the Manager, Custom Solutions and has the opportunity to be based out of any of our US offices or remotely. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately.

What you’ll do:

• Build strong relationships with customers by understanding and solving business needs efficiently and effectively while maintaining diligent and open communication

• Leverage expert-level knowledge of Ecrion Design Studio Publisher to create and modify complex custom XSLT templates which use Procore XML to generate client documentation as PDFs

• Design and create custom tools and workflows within Procore to allow customers to automate, organize, store, and share additional information

• Assist Project Managers in developing best solutions, partnering with them to define final scopes of work

• Grow into a Subject Matter Expert to assist, support, and mentor others in developing resolutions to critical issues and broad design matters while helping to refine team SOP’s

• Engage with cross-collaborative teams involving Product, Account Management, Sales Engineering, and other teams to satisfy customer requests

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred or at least 2 years of relevant work experience

• Familiarity with construction processes across verticals, particularly as related to financial and documentation needs (contracts, change orders, invoicing, etc)

• A proficient understanding of Procore’s web and mobile app functionality

• Design or programming knowledge preferred, familiarity with XML, XSLT and/or writing complex queries and logical conditions required

• Graphic design experience helpful

• Strong technical aptitude to keep up with, master, and champion Procore’s product offerings, business model, services, and emerging technologies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to determine best solutions to complex problems, and ability to recommend to clients

• Strong presentation and communication skills through virtual meetings, direct message, email, etc.

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $26 - $35. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation.
