Business Development Representative, Italy/France/Belgium

The position

ScorePlay is currently recruiting for a BDR, for our Italy/France/Belgium territory. You will be part of the EMEA sales team, providing support to the Country Manager for the Italy/France/Belgium region. This position is primarily remote, however, if you would like to be located in Brussles to work in person with the Country Manager, you are able to do so. You will work closely with the Country Manager, Italy/France/Belgium to support their sales activity, grow our brand presence, connect with potential customers and help with events.

This posting is for a contract internship role up to 6 months in duration. We would be looking for someone to start with us around September, but can be flexible with start dates for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with the Country Manager, Italy/France/Belgium to maximise outreach to potential clients and gain new leads for ScorePlay
  • Help the EMEA sales team identify new opportunities for revenue generation
  • Support with mapping potential customer stakeholders and helping to identify the right points of contact in the relevant organisations
  • Help to create sales support material such as presentations decks and customer platforms
  • Attending conferences and other relevant events to enhance ScorePlay’s brand recognition in Europe
  • Working with the marketing team to develop geographically appropriate sales collateral and promotional items
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date reporting within the CRM and other sales tools, supporting the team in maintaining a clean and organized data environment

Requirements

  • You have a problem-solving approach and are solution-oriented
  • You have a strong interest in sports business and the future of sports media consumption
  • You are a curious and open-minded eager to learn
  • You have good communication skills and are comfortable working in a team
  • You enjoy the start-up mindset and the fast-paced environment that goes with it
  • You are fluent in English and Italian, (an additional third European language would be desireable).
